Women in business networks in and around Eastbourne
The women's business groups that meet in and around Eastbourne with no membership needed: how each one works and how to go for the first time.
Eastbourne has two regular women’s business groups that anyone can book a place at, with no membership or long-term commitment: a relaxed networking morning and a small circle built around confidence. This guide sets out how each one works, so you can choose the room that suits you.
What’s On in Eastbourne lists their next dates as soon as the organisers publish them. Times, venues and prices change, so the organiser’s own page always has the final word.
Bizzybirds Networking
Bizzybirds, founded by Jane King, runs relaxed face-to-face meetings for women in business across East Sussex, including Eastbourne and Hailsham, plus online sessions and social events.
- How it works: a relaxed, friendly meeting where everyone gets a chance to tell the room about their business.
- Going for the first time: you pay per meeting, with no membership needed. Regulars can join as members for more posting in the group’s Facebook community, a members’ WhatsApp group and a listing on the Bizzybirds website.
- Where: venues vary by town, and Hailsham meetings have been held at Hops & Grounds in St Mary’s Walk. Check the booking page for each meeting’s venue.
The Blossom Business Circle
The Blossom Business Circle is run by Kirsty Davies, a confidence coach and the founder of BodiBlossom, with Zoe Britton of Arracan Group. It meets on the first Wednesday morning of the month at BodiBlossom Studio, 15B Maple Road, Lottbridge Drove (BN23 6NY).
- How it works: “networking, but softer”. A small, women-only morning built around confidence, open to side hustles and people just starting out.
- Going for the first time: pay per session, with hot drinks and snacks included. Places are limited, so book early.
- Getting there: free parking on site.
Which group suits you

Plenty of women in business also go to Eastbourne’s mixed events, almost all of which welcome everyone. The newcomer’s guide to business networking covers the Chamber breakfasts, The Learning Hub, FSB Connect and more.
Starting a business
Let’s Do Business Group runs Her Biz, an online start-up programme for women in East Sussex and Kent, with a one-to-one session with a start-up coach.
